Slowly the team is gathering. We are pulling team members in from a wide range of expertise. From boat builders, kite-flyers/surfers, photographers, marketing and PR and event managers. Here are some of the team that are helping mould this project.

Jeremy Waitt

Waitt takes on the role as Project Leader. His imaginative ideas, persistence, determination and enthusiasm have got this project rolling. Jeremy's character is truly inspirational. Working for charities and personal projects he pieces his life together through the Yachting and Watersports World. Within the Watersports community he is well know and referred to as the true British Waterman, likened to Laird Hamilton from the Hawaiian island, who is known for his understanding of the oceans and riding of big waves. Jeremy Waitt has been surfing and sailing for 20 years and has surfed Pipeline and Windsurfed in huge waves.



Chris Burk                                                                                      Age: 19 yrs oldWeight: 10 stoneHeight: 5'7From Atworth in wiltshire (nr Bath)Living in Bembridge (IOW) for 3yrsChris has been kiting since March 2000 and is a qualified British Kitesurfing Association instructor. He helps manage x-isle kite school in Bembridge. Chris trained through the UK Sailing Academy (UKSA) as a dinghy and windsurfing instructor. He found kiting through being a keen windsurfing from the age of 11.With wake boarding, mountain boarding, kite mountain boarding and sailing he is a young and talented indervidual that is perfect for this such a radical craft.

James Meaning                                                                   James has been assisting with rescue and safety. His countless years as a yeacht helmsman has bought a range of expieriance to the party.

Alix McKee                                                                    is the K.B.A PR and marketing consultant and has been on board with the project from the start. Formerly PR Manager at Isle of Wight Tourism, Alix has run the White Air Extreme Sports Festival media centre for the past three years and is a familiar face with the extreme sports media.  Now Alix runs her own marketing and events agency am PR & Events.
